A Special Sunday Serenity: In Solidarity with Gaza
This week’s Sunday Serenity will be published tomorrow, in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Gaza. I’d love to hear how you are spending your Sunday—what reflections or activities are filling your heart and time today?
Usually, Sundays find me writing my book or diving into my Arabic studies. However, today I’ve been blessed with an incredible opportunity. Out of hundreds of women who signed up, I’ve been chosen to attend a course on washing and shrouding the dead. It’s been a day of deep contemplation on the beauty and mercy of death, as granted by Allah. While this might sound heavy, I see it as a profound mercy from our Creator—one that brings peace to the soul.
More about that tomorrow! For now, may your Sunday be filled with barakah, and don’t forget to reflect on life, death, and everything in between.
Much Love,
Nour Cauveren
P.S. I know reflecting on death can be really scary, here is an amazing article that addresses those fears, diving into it and remember when you face your fears, you grow stronger and more resilient, plus Allah is with you and never forget that. I love you for the sake of Allah.
