Sunday Serenity newsletter will be pausing as I recover from emergency life saving surgery الحمدلله . This week I ask you to share your answers to the following question for the sake of Allah.

How well have you fulfilled your true purpose as a slave of Allah swt?

My answer:

I have been striving, but I can do a lot better. Allah swt last Sunday morning gave me the sweetest tahajjud of my life. And as the sun rose, my Rabb tested me with the most brutal and excruciating pain of my life. Two misdiagnoses, four different doctors, and 36 hours later, I had a diagnosis, and it wasn’t looking good. “Had the surgery taken place an hour later, she most likely would have died,” they told my family.

But Allah swt saved me. Alhamduliah! All Praise is due to Allah.

I see it as the answer to my duas to draw closer to Allah swt. Once I am recovered, by Permission of Allah swt, I will share all the beautiful events and life lessons, Allah swt put in place for me during this time of illness, InshaaAllah. There are many lessons, and blessings to share. I will never know the true extent of His Love, Mercy, I am at a loss of words Allahu Akhbar! Alhamduliah.
